Northrop Grumman was awarded a $74 million United States Postal Service contract for the Feeder Enhanced Destacker Retrofit (FEDR), which was a modification to the company's Advanced Flats Sorting Machine (AFSM 100).

Result Summary:
The United States Postal Service recognized Northrop Grumman with the 2003 Quality Supplier Award for "exceptional performance on the Feeder Enhanced Destacking Retrofit (FEDR) program."
