John Karaus, LTC USA (Ret)
Mr. Karaus joined the Boneal Management Team in 2004 after serving 22 years in the U.S. Army in a progression of combat leadership, operations, planning and command positions primarily in the 101st Airborne and 1st Infantry Divisions. He served in Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Germany, Kosovo, and Bosnia with key assignments as a Troop Commander, Squadron Operations Officer, Squadron Executive Officer, Brigade Operations Officer, and the Division Chief of Plans. During his last assignment he served as Professor of Military Science at Morehead State University. Mr. Karaus holds a BS Engineering degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a BS Math degree from Morehead State University, and an MS in Operations from the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth Kansas. Mr. Karaus' military awards and decorations include: Senior Aviator Badge, Parachute Badge, Air Assault Badge, Bronze Star Medal, two Air Medals, four Meritorious Service Medals, Army Commendation Medal, NATO Medal, and Campaign Medals for Southwest Asia, Bosnia, and Kosovo.
